About the Eduard Buk Ulreich Archive

The Archive was established by the family of Eduard Buk Ulreich to support the artist’s legacy through a variety of initiatives:

• Establishing a Catalogue Raisonné
• Support scholarly research
• Loans of artwork
• Gifts of artwork
• Rationalization of Archive collection
• Conservation of artwork
• Facilitate/support collections
• Promote greater public interest/understanding of the artist

The Eduard Buk Ulreich Archive became active in 1981 and launched an online web presence in 2025. The Archive maintains an extensive collection of the artist’s work in a variety of mediums. The Archive also owns and manages a comprehensive collection of the artist’s papers which it has pledged to the Smithsonian Institution’s Archives of American Art.
