About the Eduard Buk Ulreich Archive
The Archive was established by the family of Eduard Buk Ulreich to support the artist’s legacy through a variety of initiatives:
- Promote greater public interest/understanding of the artist
- Establish a Catalogue Raisonne
- Support scholarly research
- Loan artwork
- Gift artwork
- Rationalize the Archive collection
- Conserve artwork
- Facilitate/support collectors
The Eduard Buk Ulreich Archive became active in 1981 and launched an online web presence in 2025. The Archive maintains an extensive collection of the artist’s work in a variety of mediums. The Archive also owns and manages a comprehensive collection of the artist’s papers which it has pledged to the Smithsonian Institution’s Archives of American Art.
